Working Hands by Norm Clasen
E-mail this product to a friend
Norm Clasen has been actively
photographing cowboys for decades. Although he spent 12
years contributing to the Marlboro Man ad compaigns, he has spent many
more years working with real, working cowhands as they herd horses for
his many fine art photographs. One thing that struck him time after time
is the way they all hold their hand when working a herd. He determined
to catch it on film, and when he did, it became a true work of art. The
hands, perfectly poised, enclosed in gloves that were broken in a long
time ago. The textures of the saddle leather, the rope, the worn jacket -
and the ultimate simplicity and elegance of it all.
Giclees on Paper are deckled to the image on all four sides.
Giclees on Canvas have a colored border allowing for gallery (or museum) wrap.
